Rotate PDF

The Rotate PDF tool fixes sideways or upside-down pages by rotating them 90, 180, or 270 degrees clockwise — across the whole document or just the pages you name. Load a PDF, pick an angle from the dropdown (270° is labelled as 90° counter-clockwise, the direction most scans need), and choose "All pages" or "Specific pages…". For specific pages, type a list like 1,3,5-7; the tool parses it live and shows a badge preview of exactly which pages will change, reporting out-of-bounds tokens before you waste a run. Rotation is additive: if a page already carries a rotation, the new angle stacks on top, so a 90° file rotated another 90° becomes 180°. The result downloads as <name>-rotated-<angle>.pdf with the original untouched. Encrypted files get a specific password-protection error instead of silent failure. Scanned documents are the classic case — a scanner feeds pages landscape when they should be portrait — and this local PDF page rotation tool fixes them without uploading potentially sensitive paperwork to a cloud service, since pdf-lib does the work entirely in the browser.

• Use 270° (90° counter-clockwise) for scans that need turning to the left.
• Verify the parsed preview badges match the pages you intend before clicking.
• Remember rotation stacks on existing angles — check the result if a page was already rotated.
• Keep the original file; the download is a new copy with -rotated- appended.
• For mixed problems, run the tool once per angle group rather than over-rotating.

• The Scope stat tells you at a glance whether all or custom pages are targeted.
• Type ranges in either direction — "7-5" resolves the same as "5-7".
• Use 180° for scans that flipped during duplex copying.
• Re-download with a different angle if the first rotation lands wrong.
